This dessert is delicious for children. They are very easy to prepare tartlets and they are delicious. The base is made with plantain or bananas and dates, it is thick and sweet.

Take carob flour instead of cocoa, but you can also use cocoa powder. An ideal dessert for all children, but above all, for people who follow the RAW diet. Encourage them to cook this special dessert with the children.

  • 1 cup of grated coconut
  • 15-20 dates
  • 1 and a half banana
  • 10-15 dates
  • 2-3 teaspoons carob flour (can be replaced with cocoa powder)
  • vanilla (optional)
  • banana slices

1. In the food processor process all the ingredients for the dough until obtaining a dough where the pieces of dates have been mixed with the coconut. If you take a little of this mass between your fingers, when you squeeze it, it should stick.

2. Put some grated coconut in the bottom of the molds so that the dough doesn't stick (I forgot). Put the dough little by little into the tartlet molds and squeeze it by hand so that it sticks and takes the shape of the tartlet mold.

3. Put the plantains or bananas and dates (for the cream) in the food processor or in the blender and process until obtaining a smooth cream. Add carob flour (or cocoa powder) and vanilla and process another little bit. Fill the tartlets with the filling.

4. Store in the fridge or freezer (this cream does not freeze or in the freezer). After a while (1 hour is enough) the tartlets can be 'unmold', garnished with slices of bananas and served. They come out easier after being stored in the freezer. They can be kept for a couple of days in the fridge or longer in the freezer. Bon Appetite!
